Alongside the tramlines you may find a warm tone building with timber-framing on the overhang of the second floor and a grand but fading tiled roof. this is Hugh's Blacksmith workshop. Hugh Is a dwarven man who often holds their tongue which has lent him an image of intimidating stoicism but the truth is that Hugh is ever so slightly socially anxious. having an intimidating aura does deter would-be criminals from his shop though. he runs his shop well but the real money comes from his double life as a pirate.
The ground floor of the building is the main blacksmith complete with a large round bay window area and a small awning area covering the forge on the outside, going under the awning and facing north you'll see the main entrance, stepping inside immediately to the right is a metallic spiral staircase to the second floor. Passing below the staircase you will see the the forge again in addition to various storage bays for coal and wood to fuel the forge. opposite the forge against the southern wall, jutting out into the middle of the room is the main workbench complete with a couple of rounded anvils for making round shaped items like helmets, An inset vice for holding work in progress projects and a mannequin torso for moulding plate armour onto. on the northern side of this room is a box of raw ingots and the middle of the room has a couple of regular floor anvils.
Going up the spiral staircase by the door will lead to the second floor. this floor is a well furnished pool hall with cupboards of various drinks for guests, an upright piano a grandfather clock, a sofa and of course the main draw of this room: the pool table. the southern wall of this room overhangs the tramlines and lets in just enough sunlight to make the room comfortable without being overwhelming. on the western wall above the forge the chimney continues and connects to a fireplace to add to the comfortable feeling of this room. Hugh frequently arranges for his shipmates and the captain, Sanrei Darnyl to meet up here for planning before heading out to sea.
Heading to the far west side of this room after crossing over the staircase downstairs you'll be above the Bay window and find another staircase to the third and final floor of this building. this is Hugh's living quarters although the hallway is sparsely furnished with only a small oven along the eastern wall and a sewing machine along the northern wall. the southern wall has a door to the bedroom which other than a bed and chest of drawers is also nothing special or of note.
