About
Dr Nandi pursued his PhD at the University of Wuppertal, Germany, dealing with carbohydrate-based biomolecule syntheses and Spectropic characterization using 1D/2D NMR and HRMS. Soon after finishing his PhD, he worked at Raz Jelnikes's lab at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, for quantum dots-based biosensors for a deep understanding of misfolding of proteins and detecting intracellular reactive oxygen species. He did another two-year post-doc at Ruhr University Bochum in Professor Enrica Bordignon's lab for HPLC method development for separating BH3 homology proteins. He started his independent research carrier when he joined IIT(ISM) Dhanbad in 2018 and served for over four years as an Assistant Professor (Inspire faculty) at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. After performing at SRM IST as Assistant Professor for a few months, he has joined an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis in March 2023.
