Highlights of the progress
September 1st, 2022, first group meeting from 5.30 pm to 6.05 pm. Kashif Hadi elected to be the group leader with members Lin Shu Yi, Catherine Liz Morgan and Simon Looi.
September 20th, 2022, the second group meeting from 4:30 pm to 4:45pm. The group decided to choose New York City as the profile city for the assignment on urban citizenship issues. The particular issues to be included in this assignment were decided in the next meeting.
September 24th, 2022, the third group meeting from 4:30 pm to 4:45 pm. Urban citizenship issues are decided to be land, property and housing, and differential inclusion and exclusion in NYC. An outline of the content for the google site is drawn up and shared in google doc with the members names who are responsible on each section of the outline. Lin Shu Yi is responsible for the background of NYC and the inclusion and exclusion issues of the city. Catherine Liz Morgan is on designing the layout of the google site, and Kashif Hadi and Simon Looi are on Land, property and housing issues in NYC.
September 25th to 29th, 2022. Kashif uploaded research, writeup and multimedia content on land, property and housing issues in NYC onto the google doc.
September 26th to 28th, 2022. Lin Shu Yi uploader her NYC’s inclusion and exclusion research and write up onto the group google doc, and also the background of NYC.
October 1st, 2022. Catherine uploaded her research and writeup on Asian inequality in New York.
September 28th to October 7th, 2022. Simon uploaded his research and writeup on land, property and housing issues in NYC.
October 4th, 2022, deadline for the project is extended through the request of Catherine to Professor Thaatchaayini Kananat for another 5 unit days.
October 9th, 2022, the last meeting from 12 pm to 12:05 pm. Identify the unfinished research information and content, and to be completed by the members in charge.
October 10th, 2022, Kashif selected to use his google site layout of NYC out of the three which were done by Catherine Liz Morgan, Lin Shu Yi, Kashif Hadi and Simon Looi, and uploaded contents from the research, write up and references.
October 12th, 2022. Lin Shu Yi completed the sitemap page of the NYC google site.
October 13th, 2022, progress report is written up and updated by Lin Shu Yi and uploaded onto the google site’s progress report page.
