Windows 11 is the next new operating system that Microsoft is releasing later this year. Windows 11 is the successor to Windows 10 released in 2015. Windows 11 brings brand new visuals and features to Windows. Windows 11 will be a free update for only Windows 10 users, not to the Windows 7, 8, 8.1 community. However the system requirements for Windows 11... are like Windows Vista. They are extremely high. You need a minimum of 4GB ram, 2 Core CPU with TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and 64 Bit Only. As well as a UEFI-only BIOS. No legacy support. Hardware released in the last 4 years is only compatible.
The big FAQ here is should you upgrade. Let's sum this up quickly, with Windows 11, you get an OOBE after 20 years and a new startup sound, and what do you get with Windows 10? Nostalgia. The Windows Vista/ 7 startup sound and shutdown sound. You also lose 1 app which is impossible to install on Windows 11, IE11. Support is ending for it next year so if you rely on IE11, stick with Windows 10 for the next 4 years.
