The AMSB Library (aka: Spartan Study) is the center hub of our school!

Within these 4 walls, you will find 3 distinct areas: The Collaborative Zone, the Social Learning Zone and the Individual Study Zone.

1. The Collaborative Zone

The Collaborative Zone is focused on project-based learning and group work. Teamwork, multimedia collaboration and displaying student work are encouraged. This area is defined by the large wooden tables in the main area of the Spartan Study.

2. The Social Learning Zone

What distinguishes this zone from collaboration is that it is meant to be more playful, casual and comfortable. This area is found when you first enter the library, with comfortable seating, a TV for news/entertainment, and far enough away from the Collaborative Zone that students and staff can socialize without interrupting work.

3. The Individual Study Zone

This zone is for students who want to study or work on their own. These areas are found around the Spartan Study, in cozy corners and quiet nooks for individual work and quiet.
