Visiting Scientists Positions:
We would be happy to support applications (program funded by INSA, TARE-SERB, India’s S&T Cooperation with EU, ASEAN, BRICS, IBSA, SAARC, BIMSTEC, ASEM, EAS) of young faculty and scientists for short-term visits. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in theoretical/experimental Condensed Matter Physics/Materials science/Nuclear Engineering) with relevant postdoctoral experience from the reputed organization and published articles in reputed international journals.
Postdoctoral Positions:
We would be happy to support postdoctoral and visiting scientist (UGC/CSIR/DST funded fellowship) applications of the sincere, motivated, and hardworking scholar with having Ph.D. degree in theoretical/experimental Condensed Matter Physics/Materials science/Nuclear Engineering) with publications in a reputed international journal.
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the following areas/techniques: Nuclear materials, high entropy alloys, gas sensors, ion implantation, radiation damage, synchrotron radiation facilities, Transmission electron microscopy, etc.

Ph. D. Positions:
Highly motivated students with a strong background in condensed matter physics are most welcome. The selection would be done based on the JNU entrance exam followed by an interview (preference will be given to the CSIR/UGC JRF-qualified candidates).
M. Sc. Students:
M.Sc. (Physics) students of SPS who wish to pursue higher studies in condensed matter physics or nuclear engineering are welcome for the Master's thesis.
M.Sc.(Physics) 1st-year students can also apply for the summer internship.
Note: JNU will not provide any financial support and the candidate has to arrange his/her accommodation in Delhi.
