This is a public information for the course EEE412 Wireless Communication Systems delivered in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada. Enrolled students should consult the course website hosted on Moodle.
Course Objective
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Understand the principles of wireless communications, gaining the ability to analyze signal behavior in wireless transmission.
Model wireless channels and transceiver functions in wireless systems, including satellite links and mobile cellular networks such as 5G New Radio (NR).
Study multiple access techniques, multi-antenna technology, and multicarrier modulation used in modern wireless standards.
Simulate end-to-end wireless communication systems, compute link budgets, and evaluate key performance metrics such as the data rate.
