The term artificial intelligence in itself is misleading and brings the mass misunderstanding of what is artificial intelligence and how artificial intelligence works, I prefer to use the word computer vision instead, as human and artificial intelligence relationships depicted in science fiction movies such as Her are no longer fiction but reality; humans are now dating (CNBC News Article in August 1st 2025 on Human & AI relationships) and marrying chatbots (Forbes news article in November 15th 2025 on a Japanese woman marrying her ChatGPT companion) trained on human writing uploaded into the Internet (large amount of data humans generate are called Big Data in research terms).
The human desire for connection with other humans which the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 has affected human communication and interpersonal relationships has brought a loneliness epidemic which the introduction of ChatGPT in late 2022 bringing in chatbots (Large Language Models (LLM) that can communicate to be helpful, argumentative, and perhaps romantic, resulting in humans turning to LLMs (ChatGPT, CharacterAI, and other LLM) for solace and advice.
Humans are forming emotional intimacy with machines, which are taught using the Big Data of all the information humans have updated into Internet to train the models.
What we call a good looking image and photography is innately subjective. Cameras use computational photography software to enhance image quality beyond hardware limitations to achieve obtaining as "good" as an image to humans as we can through reserach into imaging technology and signal processing.
Canon (which I own a Canon EOS R50 camera) is known for their camera lenses and software that mimic human vision and strives to have photography be available to everyone, regardless of their abilities to see.
