π’ First Visit to UHS for SATREPS Project β Group 2 Meeting
On September 8, 2022, I participated in the first on-site meeting at the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Cambodia, as part of Group 2 of the SATREPS Project: Establishment of a Risk Management Platform for Air Pollution in Cambodia.
The meeting was led by Dr. Bory Sotheavy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at UHS, and Prof. Masami Furuuchi from Kanazawa University, Japan, with hybrid participation from 15 researchers representing Cambodian and Japanese partner institutions, including the Ministry of Environment, ITC, and NUM.
This project, funded by JICA and JST, is a collaborative effort between four Japanese institutions (Kanazawa University, Nagasaki University, Osaka Ohtani University, and Particle Plus Co., Ltd.) and four Cambodian institutions (Ministry of Environment, UHS, ITC, and NUM). The initiative officially launched in September 2022, aiming to enhance air pollution risk assessment and management in Cambodia.
