In the Fall 2019 semester, I took the course Engineering Education 2 at the University of Kansas. This was a practicum course, which means a teaching experience as the primary instructor for at least two weeks in an undergraduate course was required for the completion of the course.
At the same time, I was a graduate teaching assistant in the Structural Analysis course. It was a great opportunity for me to do my practicum in this course, teaching the slope-deflection method. I applied the backward design process to design the course material.
The description of my practicum is narrated in this portfolio, delivered in four sections:
Dear reader, thank you for taking the time to follow me through my practicum! Any comments or questions regarding this portfolio will be warmly welcomed. So, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
