First, get to know your institution's ALG Champions! Every institution has a Faculty, Library, and Design Champion, and they are there to help!

Open Education lives on the SPARC Open Education Forum! While it was first designed for librarians, plenty of OER participants across higher education faculty and staff are on the list. 

The Open Education Association is an individual-membership organization of open education faculty, librarians, instructional designers, program leaders, and more. 

OEA Membership benefits include: 

• Eligibility to serve in working groups, committees, and leadership positions

• Access to all Open Education Association programs, resources, events, and publications

• Access to a members-only website, member directory, and email list

• The right to publicly identify as a member of the Open Education Association

• Representation in the association’s national efforts
