Major Casting Announcements

Hello everyone! We have more exciting news to share about our upcoming animated series, Order of the Stone! ICYMI, you may read the official announcements article here. But to sum it up, it is an upcoming Minecraft Story Mode fan made animated series, that will re-tell the story of Minecraft Story Mode, but with a more broader and different take and perspective!

The first thing we want to announce is that our second collaborator will be Spayzers, one of the Executive Producers of S.O.T. (Tales of the Order of the Stone) and voice actor of S.O.T.'s villainous Shadow. He is also the creator of the Story Mode Additions (SMAT) Mod, which adds better detailed MCSM blocks, mobs, armors, items, and much more! We are glad to announce that we will be collaborating with him, to use his SMAT textures and assets in the series! So we want to give a big thank you to Spayzers for not only creating this wonderful mod, but helping out with making this series possible. You may download the SMAT mod here.

As we are currently scripting the series, we are also adding a new ensemble of amazing talented voice actors! We are more than excited to introduce them to the series, as we allow them to gain more recognition!

Our first cast member is LochiTech, and he will be voicing Calvin, the professional Redstonist man from Redstonia, who works for Ellegaard. He doesn't take too kindly to visitors, especially Olivia.

Lochi is a voice actor, YouTuber, and the owner of his very own Minecraft Server! He is also part of the cast of Minecraft Story Mode: World's Edge, another MCSM fan animation! Let's all welcome LochiTech to the cast!

Up next, we are happy to cast an Amethyst Studios actress - Kaylen Blankenship (any pronouns) as Tara! For those who are unfamiliar with her, Kaylen Blankenship previously worked with us, as the role of Nerdy Girl from our first short film, The Infamous Fallout of Tara and Raven. Although she had a small role in the film, she will be upgraded to a main character in the series! She is also a Minecraft Story Mode fan, so we want to welcome Kaylen back into the realm of Amethyst Studios!

Tara is canonically supposed to be yellow hair clip Female Jesse. But we wanted to incoporate both her and Male Jesse into the same universe. So she is pretty much her own character, one who is wonderfully well written with amazing character development. We are excited to introduce this new yet familiar character.

Our next main character we want to cast is Rory AKA 0fficer_sanchez, or credited as Rory Sanchez as Olivia! Nothing much is known about them, but they are also a fan of Minecraft Story Mode, and are just starting out in voice acting. They definitely seem to be interesting in voicing Olivia. After all, our goal is to give starting out talent a voice in all of this, so we knew that they were a good option!

Our next talented voice actor is Pheno2.0 as Axel! They are also a voice actor in Minecraft Story Mode: World's Edge, as Jack and Zetropras! We are excited to see them take on the role of our gentle giant!

We are now going to announce our voice actor for Petra! And their name is Petra Stuart, or Petrixx (any pronouns)! As you can tell, they are a big Petra fan. Not only are they a freelance voice actor, but they are also an artist, author, cosplayer, and musician! We are very excited to see them in such an amazing role!

Up next is our Ocelot leader Lukas! And he will be voice by Jenkinator! He is not only a voice actor and MCSM fan, but also a commentary YouTuber with around 100k subscribers, which you can check out here! We are so excited to have him become a part of the ever-growing cast!

Another voice actor we want to announce is cherriioboxx (she/her) as Ellegaard! She is yet another rising star added to the ever-growing cast. So we want to welcome her as well!

Our next lucky contestant is helloitsjayce (they/them) as Evelyn! If you're confused on who Evelyn is, she is another Jesse variant, co-existing in the AEAU, but she's the red hair clip Female Jesse. She's just made into her own character. Jayce is a long-time MCSM fan, and loves to voice act and play The Sims. We are excited to add them to the cast!

After that presents Kan Seamount (any pronouns) as Mabel! You might know them as KanOfSoda, but they are the creator of this whole series, as well as the founder of Amethyst Studios. They are a scriptwriter, render artist, and voice actor! They are also the voice of Janet in DabliceCZe's upcoming Tales of the Order of the Stone (S.O.T.) video game. They will be voicing Janet in the AEAU in the far future, but for now, they will take on the role of Mabel, the cow-obsessed gal from Redstonia!

And last, but not least, we are happy to cast Sankarii (he/they) as Nohr, the blue-haired griefer from Boom Town! Sankarii is a very talented artist, animator, editor, and voice actor. They have a wonderful, huge presence in the MCSM community, as a moderator for the Block by Block Discord server and the voice actor of Xara from Minecraft Story Mode: World's Edge. Their work is incredible, and they are currently taking commissions, so go check them out on their main profile here!

We want to thank everyone who has auditioned for this wonderful series! The casting decisions were quite difficult, and it hurt having to turn down certain roles. Everyone who auditioned did such a wonderful job, and I want to congratulate every single one of the newly-announced cast members!

For those who did not get the role, you still did a wonderful job, nonetheless. However, it is not over. Because there are still so many other characters waiting for their own voice actors, including additional voices. Even if you were casted, and have a small/guest role, you are more than welcome to have other small roles that also includes additional voices. So look out for those as well!
