Cast and Crew Needed for “I’m The Boss Here”!

UPDATE 11/13/2023: Even though the deadline is supposed to be today, I will be extending the deadline! With the holidays coming up, I understand that everyone will be busy, and I have not yet gotten enough people to sign up! Take your time. I'm in no rush! I would like shooting to start in around January or so, so I will give everyone another month to sign up. The new deadline is December 11, 2023!

UPDATE 12/21/2023: We are still accepting submissions until they are filled. We just need a male lead for the role of Lucas, and after that, some very minor roles, but our priority is casting Lucas. Even if other roles are small, the help would be greatly appreciated!
Hello there, my fellow filmmakers and actors! We at the indie, non-union film company of Amethyst Studios have an excellent opportunity for you. We are currently looking for cast and crew members for the upcoming and second Amethyst Studios short film titled, “I’m The Boss Here”.
Written and produced by Amethyst Studios creator and filmmaker Kan Seamount, it is a short, fun drama that centers around a college student who is a journalist for a social media news company. Her evil boss is the CEO of the company, and wants to force her employees to publish articles about celebrity gossip instead of real world issues. The student is a big believer in climate change, but her boss is against this idea. Therefore, she takes matters into her own hands and seeks out the university’s climate activists to help research and bring awareness to this issue.
The run time should be around 30 minutes. It is not expected to be too deep, but instead, a fun and relatable drama. With an important message about real world issues, especially with what’s going on right now, it will be something for the audience to enjoy.
You will also receive a credit on IMDb, and even if you don't have one, I will definitely make one for you.
You have the opportunity to star in this movie, or even work behind the scenes! This is my (Kan Seamount’s) first time doing a major production, so not only should we work this at a good pace, but we must all get along professionally and collaborate well to create a fun and safe environment for each other.
Even if it’s your first time doing this, don’t be afraid. You will use this opportunity to grow as a person. Don’t compare yourself to others, and have fun with it.
The deadline is Monday November 13, so two weeks from now! The deadline may be extended, if needed. So please tell your friends or anyone who might be interested!
There are no specific, planned schedules or dates, but once we get the right amount of people signed up, we will decide what to do from there!
