Story Change

We wanted to make an important announcement that will be significant in one of our productions, and in response to recent events.

In our hometown of Athens, Georgia, at the home of the famous University of Georgia, an innocent woman named Laken Riley was murdered yesterday by the UGA Intramural Field. In result, classes have been cancelled, and the police are currently investigating this tragedy. We want to reach out with our condolences to her friends and family within this difficult time.

With out upcoming film halfway into production, we have made the decision to change the film "I Am Cassie Rose" from a fanfiction prequel into an original story. The reason being is that the character Cassie actually befriends a group of people, whom she ends up murdering in the video game later on, and due to the recent tragedy, we felt that it would be highly inappropriate to create a story with such an evil character, especially on the campus where such a tragedy took place.

Not only would this change be appropriate in general, but also to the cast and crew, who are UGA students themselves. While we want to make content, we must make sure that the content we produce will be safe and not upsetting to the students who may be affected by this tragedy.

With that in mind, we will be changing the film into an original story. This time, it will be titled "Chloe Cane".

Even though the original had no hints of such a triggering topic, we didn't feel like it was appropriate.
