My idea is based on the obsession with looking pretty and perfect in the eyes of social media. The crows are filled with insults that represent the critiques of society. The birds are pecking at her as if forcing the main subject to conform to beauty standards by hurting her.

The girl is strung like a  marionette being controlled by an ambiguous figure. Her expression is lifeless but the emojis on her skin represent her repressed feelings. The head is cut in half showing the inside is just darkness, as if she doesn't have her own thoughts. 

Where is the ugly duck?, 2021

All the ducks have different additives to make them look different. I wanted the audience to find a duck that they relate to, and which duck in considered ‘ugly’. This shows how society can affect beauty standards, but everyone has a different definition of beauty.
