Analysed 15 years of 1 min rain gauge data across 30 locations in Melbourne Australia, to infer extreme events.

Conclusions: 

• Angle between orientation and propagation became smaller.

• Measures of intensity (ETH, Reflectivity) increased.

Supervisor: Dr Andrew Gunn.

Compared surface wind orientation and magnitudes from outputs from three Titan global climate models.

Conclusions:

• The TitanWRF (WRF) (Newman et al. 2011) model was most comparable to the observed background easterlies. 

• However, the dunes required westerlies for formation and maintenance.
