I cannot get Amazon Prime Video to log in on PlayOn Desktop. When I enter my password and click TEST, an Amazon logon window pops up without the password filled in. When I type in my password there, it switches to VERIFYING, and then fails with an "Unable to log in to Amazon with the provided user name and password. [Error 201]"

Though we had 50 Mbps speed and average 30 ~ 40 Mbps, Prime Video app fail to open and showing Error code 1060. Insufficient bandwidth. But, the same was able to open on my Mobile hotspot of 4 Mbps, I was wondering what could be problem.

Used to work but no longer does. Amazon video works fine in IE, worked fine in FF yesterday now fails with Amazon 7235 error and saying update widevine. Widevine says no new updates when update check is intialized.
Oh I know of the problem however it so far only affects mozilla. I just switched one of the affected machines to Opera and it works fine there although ff still does not after doing the delete and reinstall of widevine that worked for a couple of days. IE and Opera have never had a problem but they were not our preferred browsers and I will never willingly allow a google product in the household if possible so there is no chrome. This problem is only recent to our machines and the first thing we did was disable ad and popup blockers and that had zero effect.And of course we are only small potatoes to amazon so their help is marginal at best.Thanks to all for your responses so far.
I have the same problem. I downloaded Latest Firefox 69.0 with Widevine 4.10.1440.19 yesterday, and still failed to load Amazon Prime Video with a message "Widevine plugin has crashed". I forwarded the crash reports to Mozilla, not sure what to do next

Amazon states on their website that only SD video is supported on Linux. There are some discussions on reddit, just do a search for "amazon HD, Linux, reddit". There are some who claim HD is working for them on Fedora Linux. Some say to try user agent spoofing, which is something that I have used to access video, and audio service on Linux in the past. I have a Fedora installation, and I'm going to try when I have time. I have not been able to get Prime to work with HD video on Arch myself, but I'm still experimenting. Hope this helps.
Tried using firefox with wine, amazon tells me I lack DRM. Tried to use Safari with wine, just shuts down, with Playonlinux, it does start and is stable, but when I go to amazon Webpage, I just get a black page, and only there. Really strange, all that.
Hey, cool. It works so far. Only thing is, it does not create shortcuts unter .local/share/applications - there is no "wine" folder there, nor are the Google Chrome shortcuts to be found anywhere on the system, naturally not the one for prime I created either. So I have to manually go into the .wine directory and access the chrome.exe there. Which means that I have a problem appending the Pulse-line to the non-existent shortcut, which means crackling sound. Any ideas?
Has anyone encountered this before? Amazon prime works fine via my tv, same on mobiles. When watching live rugby events on prime via my sky stream, anytime an advert comes on I get a hdmi connection error from prime. I have to restart my stream box by unplugging the power to get it working again. Happens every time an advert comes on. No issue with any other shows, just live rugby. Again works fine on my TV, but not via the sky stream.
It's not an issue with prime as far as I'm aware, as my smart tv with the prime app works fine. Must be a sky issue so hoping for an update to fix it...if you have a smart tv watch directly from that instead in the mean time...
