At AGDS, our dance classes are taught by trained and certified dance professionals! We are constantly continuing our education to provide the best experience possible for our dancers! The best part about this job is pursuing a passion that has been alive inside of us since we were tots ourselves! Miss Kayla Malcolm
Owner, Artistic Director, Dance Instructor
Office Hours: Monday 5:30 - 6:30, Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30
Miss Kayla has been teaching at Amazin' Grace Dance Studio for over 10 years. She took over as owner of AGDS in October 2021. Miss Kayla is a new mommy to her son, Wyatt and loves bringing him to the studio to play with his dance family! Miss Kayla teaches several styles at AGDS including jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, ballet and modern. She earned her Bachelor's degree in dance and education from Hobart and William Smith College, specializing in modern dance. Most recently, Miss Kayla became certified in Progressing Ballet Technique. She is currently a candidate for a Masters degree in dance education through the University of Northern Colorado's distance learning program and will begin this degree in the Fall of 2023.
Miss MeganOffice/Accounts ManagerOffice Hours: Monday 4:30-7pm
Miss Megan has been an integral part of the Amazin' Grace family since we opened in 2006. An alumni dancer of AGDS, Miss Megan manages our dance office now. If you have questions about payments or your Dance Studio Pro account, Miss Megan is your go-to!
Miss KourtneyDance Instructor Competition Teams Manager Office Hours: By appointment only
Miss Kourtney teaches both recreational and competitive acro, but she doesn't stop there! Miss Kourtney also teaches competitive tap and musical theater, as well as creative movement classes for dancers with special needs. When she isn't teaching here at Amazin' Grace, Miss Kourtney teaches at The Summit Center in Getzville, NY.
Miss KymberDance Instructor
From hip-hop, to the mini competition team, and adult technique classes, Miss Kymber is always up for a challenge! As she graduates from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in dance, she is continuing her education this fall at working towards a Masters degree.
Miss ChellbyDance Instructor
Miss Chellby has been teaching at Amazin' Grace for several years, and adores her tiny tots! Miss Chellby teaches ballet, tap and jazz to our tiny and mini groups. When Miss Chellby isn't teaching at AGDS, she is managing Bounce Magic in Amherst, NY and spending time with her family (including new addition, Mason!)
Miss JourdanDance Instructor
Miss Jourdan has been at Amazin' Grace since it's opening in 2006. She is an original coach of the AGDS competition teams, and is a certified teacher from pre-primary to Level 3 with the American Ballet Theater, the national dance company of the United States. Miss Jourdan spends her days teaching English language arts at Orchard Park Middle School.
Miss Elisa Fitness Instructor
Miss Elisa joined AGDS as a student in 2007 and became an assistant teacher shortly after. Since 2013, Miss Elisa has been an instructor at AGDS on and off teaching various styles, while attending school and working as a personal trainer. This summer, she completed her Master's Degree in Health and Human Performance through Canisius College. Currently, she works at Restore Medical Fitness specializing in cardiac and pulmonary rehabiliation, diabetes management and weight loss. She is excited to be back at AGDS this year teaching the Conditioning and Fitness class!
Miss PattieFitness Instructor
As our resident "professional dance mom", Miss Pattie is the go-to expert for any and all things our dancers need backstage! Specializing in fitness and yoga, Miss Pattie teaches the adult fitness classes, but has been known to step out on stage in the adult technique classes as well!
