We offer a range of classes for all ages taught by trained and certified professionals! Please see our class descriptions below and fall schedule! Under each class description you will find the dress code required for each class. Required shoes may be purchased at Bailey's Slipper Shop where you can be fitted professionally and the correct shoes can be ordered. 1 Hour : Mini - Junior - Teen
Acro is a style of dance that combines jazz technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character and unique choreography, which blends dance and acrobatics together while improving strength, flexibility, and tumbling skills.
Dress Code: A leotard is required with fitted shorts or leggings. Tights are not recommended for acro, but if worn they must be footless. Dancers will be barefoot for acro!
1 Hour : Any Age
Fitness: Open to any adult wanting to try out a dance class! Get your heart rate going with light cardio, barre, Zumba, yoga, pilates and more!
Dress Code: Comfortable athletic clothing and bring clean/dry sneakers.
Technique: Open to any adult wanting to try out a dance class! We will introduce technique basics in jazz, ballet and hip hop styles. This class may perform in our end of year recital. Performance will be voted on among the participants.
Dress Code: Comfortable athletic clothing and you may dance barefoot. We may discuss the possibility of purchasing shoes later in the year.

Ballet develops grace, technique, alignment, strength, and flexibility of the body. We focus on muscle engagement and efficiency as well as injury prevention, even at a young age. Ballet is a very structured dance form that focuses on etiquette, routine and professionalism. Ballet is highly recommended for ALL dance students.
Dress Code: Pink or tan tights; A leotard; ballet skirt optional. No t-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies, etc are permitted.
1.5 Hour: Teen

Hip-hop is an energetic form of street dance rooted in African American culture. The movements are rhythmic and syncopated while being dynamically difficult as they range from isolations and full-body movements.
Dress Code: Comfortable and appropriate clothing. No midriffs showing. Clean/dry sneakers.
1 Hour: Junior - Teen
This class will range from upbeat and rhythmic, to slow and graceful dancing. Lyrical focuses on creating a story through movement that represents the lyrics of the song.
Dress Code: A leotard, tights, ballet skirt or dance shorts optional.
1 Hour: Teen
Modern dance is a performing art developed in the twentieth century with an emphasis on the individual point of view in all aspects – from content, style, attire, to choreography and characterized by bodily movements and rhythms – in contrast to formalized ballet. This class has an emphasis on personal expression and more natural organic movements.
Dress Code: Comfortable and appropriate clothing. No midriffs showing.
30 minutes - Ages 2 - 3
Kids will participate in movement-based activities and dance-related games that help with gross motor skills, as well as learning how to recognize beats in music and move along to it, all with guidance from their parent! Students AND parents will perform in the recital.
Dress Code: Girls - a leotard, tights, ballet skirt or dance shorts optional. Boys - Gym shorts and a t-shirt. Parents should just wear comfortable clothing. Street shoes are not permitted in the studios.
1.5 Hours: Ages 8+
This production style classes explores the music and movement of Broadway’s greatest hits and how to incorporate character, personality, and props into performance. This dance is typically a longer routine and dancer's will expected to learn 2-4 dances within the routine. Musical Theatre has different expectations than a typical recreational class, please see our studio policies for more information.
Dress Code: A leotard; tan tights; dance shorts or skirt optional.
1 Hour: Tot
Students will learn the basics of ballet designed appropriately for their age and level. A variety of fun music is used while students practice structure and listening skills, along with coordination and grace.
Dress Code: A leotard and tights. Ballet skirt or shorts optional.
1.5 Hour: Teen
This class will focus on enhancing basic to advanced ballet technique and alignment, as well as strengthening their legs, ankles, feet and core muscles. This class is highly recommended for serious dancers who want to enhance their ballet skills. Pre-Pointe is prerequisite class for those in Pointe. You will take this class until you have been approved to join Pointe by the instructor. This is a non-performing class.
Dress Code: Pink tights; a black leotard; ballet skirt optional.
1 Hour: Teen
Students must be approved to join by the instructor. Pointe is classical ballet in which dancers will wear pointe shoes, elevating their entire body weight onto their ankles, feet, and toes. Pointe is an audition only class. Dancers will must take the Pre-Pointe summer intensive to be considered for Pointe. Dancers in Pointe are required to take Pre-Pointe in addition to Pointe class during the regular season.
Dress Code: Pink tights; a black leotard; ballet skirt optional.

Encourages creativity with an emphasis on basic tap, ballet and jazz dance technique, listening skills, and motor skills. Students will perform a tap dance in the recital.
Dress Code: A leotard, tights, ballet skirt or dance shorts optional.
1.5 Hour: Mini
Students will work on tap and jazz dance technique and refine gross motor skills while also learning to count music, move to the beat, and have fun, of course! Tap is an audible, fun form of dance, teaching rhythm, coordination and motor skills. Jazz is influenced by ballet, African dance, American musical styles from different eras, hip-hop and street dancing. Students will perform a tap dance and jazz dance in the recital.
Dress Code: A leotard, with tights, shorts/dance skirt or leggings.
1.5 Hour: Junior & Teen
Jazz is influenced by ballet, African dance, American musical styles from different eras, hip-hop and street dancing. Tap is an audible, fun form of dance, teaching rhythm, coordination and motor skills. Jazz is influenced by ballet, African dance, American musical styles from different eras, hip-hop and street dancing. Students will perform a tap dance and jazz dance in the recital.
Dress Code: A leotard, tights, dance shorts, leggings or skirt optional.
