I hope that students will grow through their time in the laboratory and spread their wings into society after graduation. We believe that the most direct way for students to grow through research is to enjoy it. Research rarely progresses as planned, and there are a series of things that obstacles to overcome. However, by working diligently, you will acquire not only experimental skills, but also discussion and presentation skills, logical thinking skills, patience, the joy of achieving results, patience when results are not achieved, and a sense of gratitude to your colleagues and others who support you. In other words, I believe that you can grow not only as a researcher but also as a person.

I look forward more than anything to sharing joys with you through research!

Join our laboratory from graduate school　对于那些希望从研究生院加入我们实验室的人来说

We welcome students who wish to enter our laboratory from graduate school. If you are interested in conducting experiments and research in organic chemistry in our laboratory, please do not hesitate to contact me (amaya[at]nsc.nagoya-cu.ac.jp). We would be happy to meet with you and/or take a tour of the lab to get a feel for the atmosphere. Online interviews and/or lab tours are also available.
