Facilitating Group Skillbuilding & Reflection
Everything I do in my personal and working life centers around one concept: togetherness. I labor tirelessly each day to find new ways to help people reflect, heal, and build themselves, with the aim of helping us find more collective agency, interpersonal support, and connection. This is my life-work: to help us understand that our choices have tangible effects on our surroundings, that through self-awareness and other personal skills, we can measurably impact how the world around us is shaped.
Over the past several years, I have completed this work primarily through intuit.hue, an online space which provides resources for emotional and personal skillbuilding, as well as being a place which encourages rest and provides affirmations. I have designed workshops, written books and articles, led educational nonprofits, provided online and in-person classes, and worked directly with community members in guiding their own personal reflection, healing, and liberation. The majority of my work centers around concepts such as agency, trust, communication, vulnerability, processing trauma, and other relational practices.
I am passionate about helping us reclaim words such as "dependence" and "togetherness", to understand that inter-dependence isn't a negative, but simply a fact of how we relate to one another; everything we do - even (or especially) the small things we often don't think about, such as how our food gets to our table - is interconnected and requires community. All of our choices are built on (informed by) those around us and those who came before us. By understanding that we live interconnectedly, we can begin to make choices which are aligned with interpersonal awareness, which contribute intentionally to building a world which thinks and feels and cares more.
That work of educating, supporting, and guiding - of doing my part to build a together world - is what I have committed my life to.
