My name is Amanda Raigosa, and I am an Occupational Therapist!
At Dominican, I completed my MS in Occupational Therapy in 2024. I also completed my BS in Health Sciences and a double minor in Psychology and Community Action and Social Change (CASC) in 2023. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with departmental honors, was a peer mentor for 3 years, and supervised recreational volleyball for 3.5 years. I was a PTE, DSOTA, and Psi Chi member. I am from Roseville, California, and some of my passions outside of Occupational Therapy include travel, volleyball, and watching movies with my family.

Through my different roles and responsibilities on the Dominican campus, strengthened my abilities to become a successful student, classmate, and leader. I can't wait to use my knowledge and experiences gained at Dominican to help others around me and shape who I am.

My family has always inspired, encouraged, and supported me as I have strived to reach my academic and personal goals. I have two siblings, I am part Colombian and Japanese, and I am proud of my multiethnic identity. I am also thankful to have been able to visit my paternal relatives in Colombia and for the opportunity to have grown up with my maternal grandparents and great grandparents. I am grateful to have such a strong, loving, and supportive family.
