Amanda is an amateur historian and prospective history teacher from Jacksonville, FL. She has been interested in and studying history for as long as she can remember. Her love of the past was born from many trips to historical sites in and around her hometown. Other interests include anthropology, archaeology, religion, and genealogy. 

Amanda is a University of Central Florida Summer 2025 graduate. She plans to use her degree to pursue a career as a 6-12 educator teaching social sciences in Duval County, FL.
