I have loved music ever since I was young. My whole family plays some kind of instrument. My mom plays the clarinet and started to teach me how to play before I started the second grade. When I was in third grade I joined my elementary school band. When I was in 6th grade my band teacher said to me there were not enough saxophones in the band. When I came home I asked my mom if I can learn the Alto Saxophone. Halfway through 7th grade, I switched to Alto Saxophone. I picked up the Saxophone really quickly. I took private lessons for the Alto Saxophone and eventually my teacher could not teach me anything else and I started to learn things on my own that she did not know. When I was in 9th grade my mom switched the instruments for my private lessons and I started to learn piano. When I was in 10th grade I showed interest in the guitar and my dad bought me a guitar. (My mom also got me a guitar as a surprise, so now I got three. They did not communicate very well.) *Side note, I got three because I also was making a guitar of my engineering project at the time. Music has taught me how to communicate with others and has given me confidence.
