C.A.R.E (or by its full name, Companion and Assistant for Resting) is a high-tech hospital bed to be used in hospitals. It is a multi-functional device to ensure the comfort of patients. It also exist as a big help for the doctors.

To summarize its uses, C.A.R.E can sanitize a patients bed after discharge of a patient thus saving big time for hospital staff to focus on other work. Next, it has an built-in food ordering system that can notify the hospital's kitchen of what food the patients prefer. It also has built-in curtains, which the patients can manually control to open or close from afar by just using a controller.

The recent Covid-19 pandemic has been a major impact on hospitals and it kept doctors around the world busy for a very long time. Our team decided to build C.A.R.E that can be a major assist to the doctors so that more work can be done.

We made our project by focusing on a few points:

• Time-saving

• increasing the patient's comfort

• Reducing contact between patient and doctors

Thus, through discussing, we came with an idea to build a mechanized bed by applying the current era's technology.
