Scarecrow Trail - McMillan Coffee Morning , 27 September 2025 We will be running our fourth edition of our Scarecrow Trail together with our annual McMillan Coffee morning to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.

We are launching our third AASL Photograph Competition As part of National Allotments Week (11–17 August 2025). We’re inviting all AASL allotment holders to take part in our special photo competition — a chance to celebrate your plot, share what makes it meaningful to you, from today till 1st September (noon) 2025. Enter and win a prize! The theme this year is ALLOTMENTS AND WELLBEING. There are 2 categories: adult and under 15's.
National Allotment Week (11-17th August 2025) It marks the 23rd d year of celebrating Allotments with the NAS' annual awareness campaign. The theme for 2025 will be Celebrating Allotments and Wellbeing. It's a great chance to explore how allotments support healthier lifestyles and stronger communities. Open Day & Coffee Morning, Saturday 5th July 2025 We will be holding our second Open Day on Saturday 17th August from 10.30a.m till 1.00pm as part of our event on offer for the National Allotment Week 2025 organised by the NAS. We will also hold our August coffee morning and raise money for the NSPCC as per previous years.
Coffee Morning & Working Party, 10 May 2025 To mark the beginning of the well started growing season we will have our first coffee morning together with our first working party of the season. Many hands make light work!

Come and join us at the garden for talks and demos from chefs, growers and gardeners throughout the weekend. The Great Big Green Week, 17 June 2023
This year the NAS will be a partner of the Climate Coalition for The Great Big Green Week 2023! And ... We are taking part in it! We will be joining institutions like RSPB, National Trust, The WI and WWF to drive positive action within the community and raise awareness of how WE can help impact. On Saturday 17th June from 11.00 a.m. onwards, why not swop unwanted crops with fellow plot holders, OR EVEN get involved to one of our mini- projects for the day (building up a Big Great Bug Hotel, a Big Great Hedgehog House or a Big Great Rockery for our allotment site.
