Open Day and NSPCC Coffee Morning, July 2025
We have raised again lots for another good cause through your donations to the coffee morning this morning - £162.50 to support the NSPCC . Well done again!

What a day ! A huge thank you to all who supported us yesterday for the NSPCC coffee morning and open day . It was buzzing .
Working Party & Summer Barbecue, June 2024
Well! What a day ! Weather stayed on our side. It was amazing to see so many plot holders at the bbq to celebrate a great morning's work . Everybody seems to enjoyed themselves getting to know each other . Thanks to the ones who pitched in . But most of all , thanks for putting a smile on our face with an epic turnout .
Harrogate Spring Flower Show, April 2024
Our site was well represented again this year in helping Leeds Allotment Federation to the Harrogate Spring Flower Show 2024 by setting up what a Nature and Nurture School might look like. Have a look at the photos if you can't access the show this week.
Photography Competition, August 2023
Here are the entries for our first ever photography competition. The theme was HARVEST. There were some well composed and fun photos that provided a view of the special opportunity an allotment can provide, and not to mention some terrific produces. We had 4 lucky winners in the Adult category (the red climbing bean flowers, the sunflower and the bee, the drying onions and the raspberries). All juniors were winners.
Second edition of our scarecrow trail , September 2023
We had another fun and successful Scarecrow Trail on site recently with some should I say "interesting" creations. The winner was Darcey Brussel followed by Cheeky Boo. Can you guess which one are which?
Yorkshire Wildlife Gardening Award, July 2023
Another great news, we have been successful in our application to the Yorkshire Wildlife Gardening Award. Our garden was described as a wonderful place for wildlife. I sent lots of photographic evidence to show everything we 've done to make our site a wonderful haven for wildlife. Our plaque will l be displayed with pride sometimes in August on site.
The Great Big Green Week, June 2023
Great big effort from the Great big hotel team. What an amazing built! Building a Great Big Bug Hotel and a Great Big Hedgehog house to protect wildlife is what inspires us to take action to tackle climate change and protect nature.
Coronation Barbecue, May 2023
