AlwaysRide – Terms of Service

Welcome to AlwaysRide, a ride-sharing platform developed and operated under InfinityApps. By using the AlwaysRide mobile application or website (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the Platform.

Overview

AlwaysRide is a free ride-sharing platform available in Canada that connects drivers offering rides with users seeking local or intercity travel. The Platform allows users to post or search for rides, communicate directly, and arrange travel details independently.

AlwaysRide does not charge any fees or commissions, and does not process any payments through the Platform. We provide the space for connection, but all ride agreements and transactions are made solely between users.

Platform Usage

• Drivers can post ride offers for both local (within city) and intercity (between cities) travel.

• Riders can search, view, and book rides that suit their travel needs.

• Communication between users is handled through the in-app chat feature, where they can finalize ride details including fare, pickup location, and destination.
  
  

No Payment Processing

AlwaysRide does not process any financial transactions within the app. Users are fully responsible for negotiating and confirming all payment terms directly.

• AlwaysRide is not liable for any payment disputes, fraud, or misunderstandings between users.

• We recommend using online payment methods that provide proof of transaction. Avoid paying in cash whenever possible.

• Users should confirm all ride details in writing through the in-app chat to ensure clarity and evidence of agreement.
  
  

User Verification and Safety

AlwaysRide is an open platform, and we do not perform any background or identity verification of users (drivers or riders).

• Users must take full responsibility for verifying the identity and trustworthiness of any person they choose to ride with or offer a ride to.

• Avoid sharing personal or sensitive information.

• Use in-app chat for all communication and confirmation.

• Be alert to potential scams or fraud. If anything feels suspicious, do not proceed with the ride.
  
  

Cancellations and No-Shows

AlwaysRide does not enforce cancellation policies.

• Both drivers and riders are free to cancel rides at any time without prior notice.

• AlwaysRide is not responsible for any inconvenience, delays, or issues caused by cancellations or no-shows.

• If you experience harassment, inappropriate behavior, or other misconduct, please email us at contact@alwaysride.ca. Include evidence (such as chat screenshots), and we will review the case and take appropriate action.
  
  

Data and Location Usage

To function properly, AlwaysRide requires access to location data in order to:

• Show rides available near the user’s current location

• Match users with nearby drivers or riders

This data is used solely to enhance the user experience and is not shared with third parties without consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

Age Requirement

There are currently no age restrictions to use the AlwaysRide platform. However:

• Users must be capable of making independent, responsible travel decisions.

• Users under 18 are advised to travel with an adult or guardian.

• It remains the responsibility of each user to verify the identity and trustworthiness of the people they are traveling with.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

• AlwaysRide is not a transportation service. It is a neutral platform to connect individuals offering or seeking rides.

• AlwaysRide does not own, manage, or control any vehicles or drivers using the Platform.

• AlwaysRide is not responsible for the conduct of users, including delays, cancellations, disputes, or any damages, injury, or loss resulting from use of the Platform.

• Users use the Platform at their own risk.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology related to the AlwaysRide platform is owned by InfinityApps. Users may not reproduce, copy, or exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.
