When our animators heard the news, they literally started jumping up and down. 😄
I'm excited to share that our panel, "Animating for a Cause: The Always Ask for Help Documentary," has been accepted to present at Tampa Bay Comic Con 2026!
Dana Corrigan and I will take audiences behind the scenes of the documentary and showcase the powerful animations she and her team have created to bring Arnie's story to life.
And for anyone else who didn't know, Tampa Bay Comic Con is one of the region's largest pop culture events, celebrating its 26th year this September at the Tampa Convention Center.
We'll share our panel date and time as soon as the official schedule is released. We can't wait to show how animation is helping tell a story that has the power to change the world.

For Arnie Stewart, school was a place where asking for help never felt safe. He left school unable to read and write with confidence and spent the next 50 years navigating a world that wasn't built for him.
Everything changed the day Arnie walked into Janet Lee's Grade 11 classroom and courageously shared his story. His honest, often heartbreaking, and surprisingly humorous experiences revealed what it is really like to live with low literacy. By the end of that class, students who had been afraid to admit they were struggling found the courage to ask for help themselves.
That single classroom visit sparked a movement.
