My personal and professional paths have taken me to several fascinating places across Europe, where I’ve had the chance to meet many wonderful people, both within and beyond academia. I feel truly grateful for these experiences, which have shaped me in more ways than I can count.
I was born in 1990 on the main island of Venice, Italy, a magical city overflowing (sometimes quite literally!) with history and art. I spent my childhood and undergraduate years there, before moving to Pisa for my bachelor’s and master’s studies at Scuola Normale Superiore. In 2018, I defended my PhD at SISSA in Trieste, and then headed abroad for postdoctoral positions in the Netherlands and Germany. Finally, in 2025, I arrived in France to begin my role as a CNRS researcher.
