This year I co-headed the project with Ryan Kent.
When we first met we discussed last year's issues. We plan to increase the reservoir size to try and keep the coil cool and repair the button that short circuited. To keep this from happening Kent said he would look into a way to "down-step" the charge that runs through it.
We also plan to redo the base board of the device and the switch panel to make the project look nicer and keep the primary switch (the one participants press) accessible while also giving the us easier access to the emergency shut down switch.

The water reservoir we originally ordered ended up being about a third the size it was supposed to be, so we improvised and used an animal cracker container. Next year we'd like to replace this with an actual reservoir.
The darts went between the cups like last year, but were rebounding off of the backboard towards us so we need to rethink the material it is made out of to minimize the distance the return or stop it completely.
