Set up your business — Go to Settings → Business Information. Add your business name, logo, signature, GST number, and terms & conditions. These appear on your PDF quotations.
Configure profiles — Go to Settings → Profile Settings and enter your aluminium profile insert values for accurate calculations.
Add a client — Tap Clients → New Client. Enter name, mobile, address, and notes.
Add items — Open a client → Add Item. Choose item type (window/door), material, profile, width & height in inches, and quantity.
Generate quotation — Review rates on the quotation preview screen, then generate and share the PDF.
Does AluPilot need internet?
No. AluPilot works fully offline. Internet is only needed to share PDFs through apps you choose (e.g. WhatsApp, Mail).
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. All data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your client or quotation data.
How do I back up my data?
Go to Settings → Backup → Create Backup. A .alupilotbackup file is saved on your device. Use Import Backup to restore on the same or another device.
Will backup replace my current data?
Yes. Importing a backup replaces all existing app data. Create a fresh backup before importing if needed.
How do I add my logo or signature to PDFs?
Settings → Business Information → Logo / Signature. You pick an image from your device’s photo library.
How is billing calculated?
Quotations use square-foot (sq.ft) billing based on item dimensions and the rate you enter per item. GST can be enabled in business settings.
Which window and door types are supported?
Sliding windows (2, 3, and 4 track), aluminium doors (with or without frame), machchar jali shutters, and related profile/material options.
How do I lock the app?
Settings → Biometric Lock. Enable Face ID or Touch ID (device dependent). Biometric data is handled by your device — AluPilot does not store your fingerprint or face data.
How do I change language?
Settings → Language → English, Hindi (हिंदी), or Gujarati (ગુજરાતી).
How do I share a quotation PDF?
After generating a quotation, use Share PDF. Choose Quotation (with rate disclaimer) or Bill (with bill number).

How do I delete all my data?
Uninstalling the app removes local data from your device. You can also clear data by importing an empty backup only if you maintain one — otherwise uninstall is the simplest method.
PDF won’t share - Check that another app (WhatsApp, Mail) is installed and try again
Backup not found - On iOS, check Files app; backup may be in app documents or chosen folder
Biometric lock won’t enable - Ensure Face ID / Touch ID is set up in iPhone Settings
Rates show as required - Enter a non-zero rate for every item on Quotation Preview
Wrong language - Change in Settings → Language and restart the app if needed
