Altruia - While Altruia is not an actual word, it is a play on the word Altruism which means 'selfless concern for the well-being of others.' We wanted to name the charity that recognized and celebrated our sponsor's care for others.
Logo - Altruia's logo looks very similar to the tree of life except the roots have been replaced with a book. Primary motivation behind Altruia is our belief that education has the power to break the cycle of poverty. This logo embodies our mission and motivation - a good education leading to a good career leading to changing livesfor the better.
