The PTSO is sponsoring a Spring Dance after school on Friday, May 22 from 3:45-5:15 PM at A.L. Stanback.
**PLEASE NOTE THE END TIME**.
Pick up will take place between 5:15-5:30 PM.
The theme is a “Black and White Dance.” Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online starting May 12th. Students can also purchase tickets during lunch periods on the day of the dance or at the door. Pizza as well as other concessions will be sold at the dance.
Only A.L. Stanback students may attend. Please note that no transportation home is provided after the dance. Any students staying for the dance must be picked up from the school by a parent/guardian by 5:30.
La Asociación de Padres, Maestros y Estudiantes (PTSO) organiza un baile de primavera después de clases el viernes 22 de mayo, de 3:45 a 5:15 p. m., en A. L. Stanback.

Come help sell tickets to students. During the lunch hours, tickets are sold for cash only. Additionally, wrist bands are handed out to those that purchased online tickets or are students of those who signed up to volunteer.

Bring your fold out chair and enjoy how quiet the hallway is compared to the dance floor. Hall monitors help ensure students stay in the area and do not wander throughout the school. School staff is available in halls to assist. These volunteer positions last from start to finish of the dance. Covering hall monitor for an hour is very helpful.

Concession Sales
Enjoy hearing the music choices of your tweens and seeing them out on the dance floor. Inside the cafeteria and with full view of the dance floor, volunteers sell sodas, chips, candy, and pizza. It is a cash only concessions stand. Concessions volunteers will be handling cash. There are two concessions areas, the pizza area and everything else. These volunteer positions last from start to finish of the dance. Covering concessions for an hour is very helpful.

Student Dance Committees
Each dance has a student committee. The student committee selects and develops the theme of the dance and the music list. The 7th graders host the fall dance, the 6th graders host the winter dance, and the 8th graders host the spring dance. Which student is on the student committee is left to the discretion of the teachers. If your student is interested, feel free to let us know and we will forward the student's name to the designated teacher.

Cada baile cuenta con un comité estudiantil. El comité estudiantil selecciona y desarrolla el tema del baile y la lista de canciones.
