Executive Orders

1. From today, the states and territories in and near Augusta and Leeuwin, Western Australia, will be reorganised. The large mainland area known as South Flinders will be ceded back to the Commonwealth of Australia. Instead, Little Flinders and Shetvik & St Alouarn will be combined into the new South Flinders. This is an effort to protect territorial sovereignty south of the administative centres of Alsann, and to centralise mainland territories around Kersika.

2. Shetvik & St Alouarn will now be known as the Alouarn Archipelago within South Flinders. The islands will be renamed. South Alouarn will be now known as Flinders Island, Shetvik will be known as Seal Island, and all small islands near these islands will be known as their cardinal positions and their parent island. Additionally, there will be four rock groups, those of the Matthews, Sealets, Midecks and Leeuwins, also known by their cardinal locations.

1. The executive branch and legislative branch will be hereby bound to fund the Alsane Central Media Association, and any subsidiaries, to the greatest extent possible. The ACMA may also receive funding from public sources. The ACMA must receive a level of funding such that they can comfortably run all regular services, and have the capacity to expand for special reasons.

2. Conversely, the ACMA should be bound to politically unbiased reporting in all aspects, and to make appropriate use of government funds. It should also not run advertising on the behalf of other organisations other than federal government branches and divisions. Additionally, it should have a variety of content that will appeal to the greatest audience possible.

1. The Alsann Republic will henceforth recognise all nations included in the below. These are: All United Nations member states, Palestine, Taiwan, the Holy See, Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Artsakh, Somaliland, Sealand and Molossia.

2. Additionally, the Foreign Division and Environment Division will be henceforth managed by the Officer-General and Mackenzie Arra respectively. The Alsann Republic will also adopt some forms of federal market socialism, especially in respect to the acquisition of dominating businesses. The federal government will hereby control the Aeonia Slate company.

1. This executive order will enable the creation of a set of flags for the Alsane states and cities. The first will be for Kersika. The already-established coat of arms will be overlaid on a background with a white triangle in the bottom left, and a light blue triangle in the top right. The second, for Aeonia, will feature a coat of arms with a stylised star in the centre above a red-and-blue crest, laid on top of a flag with a white horizontal band atop and a light blue band below. The flags for the state of Flinders and the flag of Shetvik & St Alouarn will be their historical flags as independent nations. Additionally, the Council of Representatives will now be known as the Federal Council.

2. Today, a new section of the Alsane currency will be created. This will be the fenn, a denomination of the Alsane mark. One mark is equal to one hundred fenn, the name of which is derived from the German pfennig.

1. This executive order authorises the creation of the Alsane mark as official currency within the Alsann Republic. The Alsane mark, denoted as mk (1mk) will be tied to the Australian dollar at a rate of 1mk = $2. The only official mint and legal source of coinage and notes will be the Kersik National Mint. It is also legally required that any financial institution which stores or loans money should have some physical supply of marks, and that every store headquartered within Alsann must accept the Alsane mark. The treasury will swap marks for Australian dollars if requested.

2. This executive order also will create new flags for the military and for Aeonia. The federal military will receive four new flags. All have a background of a vertical red stripe at left, and a vertical white stripe at right. The first, for the full Federal Military, has a black circle in the centre. The circles of the others are outlines in black. For the army, there is a green circle. For the navy, there is a dark blue circle. For the air force, there is a light blue circle. Additionally, the Kersik Guard will receive a flag identical in design to the military flag, except the crest at the centre is Kersika’s coat of arms.

1. Today, October 8, this executive order authorises the planned burning of the southwestern area of Banyowla. Tomorrow, October 9, will be the selected day to burn off what is known as the Lloyd Hughes section of Banyowla, part of the state of Aeonia. It enables the Australian authorities to conduct the burn, and grants them permission to do so. This burn will be conducted by the Western Australian Department of Fire and Emergency Services, and local volunteer firefighting brigades.

1. By this executive order, in addition to one within the Concordian Republic, I grant temporary citizenship of equal levels to all citizens of the Concordian Republic. The people granted this citizenship will have six months to complete a formal citizenship application, which will be accepted immediately, else their citizenship will be rebuked and they will only be able to achieve citizenship through the typical formal review process.

2. This also establishes a permanent method of attaining citizenship. This will involve the participant completing an online form, the results of which may allow them to be given either a PDF or paper citizenship application. It is the duty of those reviewing the applications to treat each applicant fairly and without bias, and to assume the best of the applicant. If the candidate’s application is of a suitable standard, they will be granted the full rights and privileges of the citizenship type they have selected.

1. By this executive order, the name of the external territory closest to the nation’s capital will be changed. The Territory of Wattessel will now be changed to the Territory of Goolamrup. Goolamrup, referring to the local area in the region’s Noongar language, is the closest territory to Kersika and will henceforth also be directly governed by the Officer-General.

1. Today, September 23, will be considered the day on which the Alsann Proclamation will go into full effect. I therefore declare the Sovereign Republic of Alsann and her Lands, Seas and Skies (the Alsann Republic) fully independent of the Commonwealth of Australia and the Concordian Republic, and fully invest executive power within myself. I am henceforth the Officer-General Kalan Cameron del Kersika, OAS, AAS.

2. It is today that the borders of the state of Aeonia will be officially recognised, as well as the borders of the Naverston Capital District, Kersika, the Territory of Wattessel and the southern regions of Flinders. These borders are to remain a constant lest there is a need to surrender land. It is also henceforth a territorial policy of Alsann that no residence shall be claimed without the permission of one resident.
