Important announcement: As of November 23, we have granted permanent equivalent citizenship to all former Concordians. If you do not wish to become Alsanian, contact us to rescind your citizenship.
You have two options open to you when applying for citizenship. Either way, you go through the same application process. You first fill out the online form, giving us a basic screening. From there, if accepted, you will be sent a PDF to fill out and return to us with matching details. If everything goes well, you will be issued with a certificate of citizenship and an identity document valid within Alsann and its overseas offices.
Citizen-resident is the most complete form of citizenship in Alsann, open to anyone within the state of Western Australia. Citizen-residents give permission for their home or other nearby area to be absorbed into the nation, and in return receive multiple privileges not open to federal citizens. Additionally, you will receive a traveller's permit which can be utilised at foreign offices and within the nation.
These include: the ability to vote for region-based members in the Council of Representatives, the ability to be elected to those roles, guaranteed security and refuge in government offices overseas, guaranteed defence by the military and more. You can apply for citizenship-residency here.
Citizen-resident is the most open citizenship path in Alsann, accepting people across the globe. Federal citizens are not required to surrender any land, and they still receive many rights, just not quite as much as a citizen-resident.
Federal citizens can vote for federal members in the Council of Representatives and have the ability to run for those roles, they will be recognised at overseas offices and may be granted temporary protection, and they have the right to serve in Alsann's military reserve. You can apply for federal citizenship here.
