These ALPES stories reflect how leadership, when grounded in community and action, can create meaningful impact.
In 2024, as part of our wedding program, we brought the ALPES Foundation to life with our loved ones. We requested donations, raised $3000, and put together grocery bags, hygiene kits, and school supplies supporting 285 families with children with disabilities, in partnership with the ALUNA Foundation.. It was a testament of leadership in action, and how it can take one person to mobilize a group of 50+ people to make a significant difference in the surrounding community.
We’ve expanded our community-building efforts into local social structures, including the Nomad Supper Club, which creates consistent opportunities for connection among young professionals.
Each gathering includes a built-in service component, making giving back accessible, shared, and ongoing. During the holidays, this community supported the Hoboken Shelter through a clothing drive and partnered with Letters Against Isolation to write letters to nursing home residents.
By prioritizing continuity over one-time moments, we focus on building awareness of local needs and creating simple, repeatable ways for people to show up for their communities
