A.Lovelady Art - Media Plugs

More Than Media. A Movement of Community.

A.Lovelady Art is about far more than creating art. Every media feature gives us an opportunity to shine a light on community, inclusion, advocacy, accessibility, empowerment, and the people making a difference around us.

From art and theater to special-needs programs, fundraisers, youth education, community initiatives, and creative partnerships, these stories help us reach more people, create more opportunities, and remind our community that everyone belongs and everyone has something to offer.

The art gets people's attention. The connection creates the impact.

WSFA DOLLY CELEBRATION OF LIFE COVERAGE

When Art Becomes Community Impact

The Dolly Parton Flash Art Party started as a simple idea: use art to bring people together and make a difference. What began as a fundraiser quickly became a wonderful example of what can happen when a community, a local business, and creativity come together.

I was so grateful to have WSFA 12 News join us. I shared the story during their 11 AM Alabama Live! segment, and later that evening, they came back to the event for a second interview. While I don't have the link to that second news segment, I've included the interview footage here.

The business partner host site also shared during the interview how easy it was to work with A.Lovelady Art and bring the event together — and that means so much to me.

Because for me, it's never just about the art. It's about community, inclusion, empowerment, and creating opportunities to make a difference.

The art gets people together. The impact is what keeps me going.

Celebrating Our Community

Media coverage means so much to A.Lovelady Art because it gives us another opportunity to shine a light on the amazing programs, resources, businesses, and people making a difference in our community. From the Penguin Project to local arts and community initiatives, I’m proud to partner with, volunteer alongside, and cheer on the organizations doing good work.

When we share their stories, we help more people discover the resources available right here in our community — and hopefully help these programs continue to grow, thrive, and make a difference for years to come.

Growing Through Art

This 2025 media feature captured a special part of A.Lovelady Art’s journey as I continued bringing creative experiences to our community. I’ve been teaching art classes since 2024, creating fun, accessible opportunities for children, families, and community members to explore their creativity.

I’m incredibly grateful for every opportunity to teach, partner, and grow — and for the local media that helps share these creative moments with our community.
