This is a preliminary outline of the workshop agenda. Expected components are subject to change as 1) more data from the CHEER Large Program is observed and delivered to the collaboration and 2) more preliminary analysis of the data is completed by the team in advance of the workshop.
Days One through Three will each incorporate at least three breaks, including one lunch break and at least two coffee breaks. Posters will be on display throughout the workshop and will be presented during select coffee breaks.

Day One: Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Presentations:
Introduction, CHEER status updates, and workshop logistics.
Overview of data reduction pipeline, workflow, and outputs.
Preliminary data analysis and core results.
Discussions and Break-Out Sessions:
Preliminary results and initial conclusions.
Challenging aspects of the data (with NRAO support).
Hands-on data break-out sessions (with NRAO support).
Outreach:
Public talk series (with either Astronomy on Tap, McCormick Observatory, etc.).
Day Two: Wednesday, March 11, 2026
Presentations:
Info session with NRAO: Overview of CHEER.
The latest results and insights from recent ALMA Large Programs on planet-forming systems, including DECO, ExoALMA, and AGE-PRO.
Scientific updates on relevant projects from the CHEER team and from UVA/NRAO students, postdocs, and faculty.
Discussions and Break-Out Sessions:
Synergies with ALMA DECO and other ALMA Large Programs.
Core publication break-out sessions.
Hands-on data break-out sessions (with NRAO support).
Outreach:
Public talk series (with either Astronomy on Tap, McCormick Observatory, etc.).
Day Three: Thursday, March 12, 2026
Presentations:
Informal recaps of break-out sessions and discussions.
Informal recap and close-out of the workshop.
Discussions and Break-Out Sessions:
Planning sessions for future batch and spin-off publications.
Follow-up proposal brainstorming, including the next ALMA deadline (April 2026).
Drafting sessions for core publications.
Break-out sessions for preparing program legacy products for the community.
