United States

Taking vacations within Michigan and embarking on midwest roadtrips in my youth fostered a deep love and appreciation for travel.

I have been to 31 states: Michigan, New York, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Iowa, Missouri, Utah, Arizona, California, Nevada, Nebraska, Maryland, Colorado, Washington, Florida, Louisiana, and New Mexico.

Niagara Falls

Through the Cornell University Astrophysics and Planetary Science Summer Research (REU) program, I got to see Niagara Falls from New York and Canada.

New York City

Living only an hour out from the city in undergrad, I was able to visit and explore the city frequently!

Train Trip from NYC to LA

I took a train trip from New York City to Los Angeles with a brief pit stop in Chicago. This life changing experience allowed me to see a swath of the entire country - coast to coast!

Boston

As a part of the Biology Club executive board, we organized two different trips to Boston, MA to go whale-watching and got spectacularly lucky! I also have been whale-watching in Los Angeles as a part of my cross-country train trip experience.

Chicago, Illinois

Because of its proximity to my home city, I never considered Chicago to be "travel" but now, having been away and gone back several times, it is one of my all time favorite places to visit!

Cumberland Falls, Kentucky

A breathtaking waterfall I visited while in my early teenage years.
