Planet info and time periods

Neoediacaran

The Neoediacaran begins with the seeding of organisms and ends once said organisms cause an oxygen boom and global cooling event. A single continent exists largely dominated by desert and steppe where the stepgrove plant grows voraciously without much competition.

Innovations:
• Macroscopic Rotifers dominating nekton niches
• Mangrove trees diversifying and further altering the planet's climate
• Cnidaria, Nemertea, Nematoda, and Xenacoelomorpha diversification
• Blipworms developing endoskeletons
• Ephyrazoans becoming the most advanced cnidaria
• Terrestrial xenacoelomorphs and nemerteans

Atmosphere:
Pressure at sea level: 1.7e
75% N
19.7% O2
2.4% Ar
2.2% H20
0.5% Co2
0.2% Trace Gasses
Average temperature = 17°C / 63°F

Rhizophorean

After an extinction from a sudden drop in temperature, life on Alluvius quickly recovered. With an overall diverse yet cooler variety of climates, animals and plants alike adapted to a variety of conditions. Things to note in terms of geography include the polar ice caps forming and some islands being pushed further out of the ocean. Through out the period oxygen levels slowly stabilize at around 20% and swampy Carboniferous-like rain forests decline.

Innovations:
Terrestrial macrotifers and tracheaverms evolve
Descendants of blipworms evolve endoskeletal limbs and active respiration
Ephyrazoans are largely successful
Sarcoptifers and Tracheaverms dominate the oceans
First secondarily aquatic animals
• Terrestrial
kelp diversifies and conquers harsh environments
