"The Amazon Exploration" is our most popular adventure package to experience the Amazon region in an authentic way.
You'll have a chance to explore the incredible wildlife during day and night walks in the rainforest, wander & fish in the rivers on a boat, get to know the local culture by visiting a genuine Amazonian village — and fall asleep safely to the sounds of the jungle in a private lodge after a refreshing shower.
The more time you decide to spend in the jungle, the more opportunities you have to enjoy the wildlife and culture.

Note: We can customize the content of your adventure based on your desires. The following examples are provided to give you a better overview of the options you can choose from.

First Day (example)
08:00 — Welcome and pick up from the airport or your accommodation in Iquitos. We start our journey by car, going from Iquitos to Nauta.
10:00 — After approximately two hours by car, we'll arrive at Nauta (a town south of Iquitos). We will walk around the little market to see some exotic products arriving every day from the jungle.
10:30 — Next up, we take a thatched roof, secure and comfortable boat from the harbour, which will take us to the Allpayacu Adventure Lodge.
The boat ride takes around two hours, during which you will see beautiful landscapes and occasional wildlife while crossing parts of four rivers: Marañon, Ucayali, Yarapa-Cumaceba and the mother of all rivers — the Amazon.
12:30 — Arrival to the Allpayacu Adventure Lodge
13:00 — Lunch
14:00 — After lunch, we take a small boat and go look for pink and grey river dolphins. If you want, it's possible to take a refreshing swim close to the dolphins.
17:00 — Watching the sunset from the river
18:00 — Boat ride back to the lodge
19:00 — Dinner
20:00 — Night walk — we put our rubber boots on, grab our flashlights and go for a short hike, searching for nocturnal inhabitants: tarantulas, snakes, insects, frogs, scorpions, etc.
21:30 — Back to the lodge, getting ready for the next day
Day Option #1 (example)
05:00 — Early morning excursion by boat, to watch the sunrise and hear the first call of the jungle
08:00 — Breakfast
09:00 — Jungle Hike: monkeys, birds, medicinal trees, giant trees, etc.
13:00 — Lunch & Break to chill in the hammocks
15:00 — Fishing trip by boat — we'll aim to get some piranhas, sardines — and if we're lucky, some cat fish and other types of fish!
19:00 — Dinner (if you caught some fish, we can cook it for you to taste!)
20:00 — Night excursion by boat, to look for caimans and hear the symphony of the night creatures
21:00 — Getting ready for the next day
Day Option #2 (example)
07:30 — Breakfast
08:30 — Excursion by boat and jungle hike to explore part of the Pacaya Samiria national reserve: lakes, lily pads, sloths, etc.
13:00 — Lunch & Break to chill in the hammocks
15:00 — Walk or boat (high or low water season) excursion to visit a local village to learn about culture, traditions and day-to-day activities
19:00 — Dinner
20:00 — Night walk or a boat excursion
21:00 — Getting ready for next the day

08:30 — Full day adventure excursion or camping outdoor, explore remote areas, small rivers and lakes, make fire and cook your own food

Here is the adventure in a nutshell:
08:30 — We pick you up from your accommodation (if staying in Iquitos) and transfer to Bellavista Nanay market and harbor
09:00 — Visit a small market to learn about exotic products and local gastronomy
10:00 — We take a thatched roof, secure and confortable boat from the harbor and explore the Nanay and Momon river
10:45 — Visit to Pilpintuwasi (butterfly farm) learn about butterflies and Amazon wildlife
12:00 — Visit the Bora tribe, an ancient family, with whom you will learn about the Amazon culture, traditions, dancing and have a chance to support them by purchasing souvenirs
13:30 — Lunch on board
14:30 — Explore the Amazon river and visit Fundo Pedrito, a family farm where you can see piranhas, giant Arapaima gigas, alligators, river turtles, lily pads, etc.
16:00 — Back to your hotel in Iquitos

THE SURVIVAL (MULTIDAY ADVENTURE)
Are you looking for a true survival experience in the jungle?
Want to experience what it's like to camp in the jungle — literally amongst the wildlife?
Look no further — we can take you to a tailor-made excursion deep into the Amazon rainforest. Though "The Survival" is not the best option for everyone, we have met multiple travelers who are looking for a real challenge.
This option ranges from three to +14 days in the jungle.
