L'Angoletto is a house built in stone and tuff dating back to the 40s. In May 2019 the meticulous restoration of this pretty little house was completed with the use of traditional building materials, stone, terracotta and wood. Thanks to the thick stone walls the rooms benefit from a naturally cool temperature. Most of the furnishings are new and the styles and colours have been carefully chosen with great attention to detail.

San Lorenzo Nuovo is a small village of 2.006 residents (as of January 1st 2025) located in the provice of Viterbo, which from its 503 m above sea level, overlooks the Lake Bolsena valley and is only 5km from the Lake. Set in the land of the Etruscans, bordering the beautiful Tuscan countyside and the verdant region of Umbria, it is crossed by the Cassia and Maremmana roads. The village is located on the Via Francigena, travelled each year by thousands of pilgrims on their way to Rome. A well-positioned base for visiting the numerous tourist spots in the region: in 30min you reach Orvieto or Civita di Bagnoregio, in 45min Viterbo (Terme dei Papi), in 50 min the Saturnia Thermal Baths, in 1 hour Montalcino (Val D'Orcia, San Casciano, Bagno Vignoni), in 90min the territory of the Argentario and its splendid beaches. These are just some of the many places to visit.
How to get around
In the surrounding area it is advisable to get around by car, motorbike or bicycle, as the roads are surrounded by greenery and traffic is extremely light. L'Angoletto is located at the edge of the historic centre. This means you can easily access the village's main services on foot, such as bars, a bakery, restaurants, pizzeria, small markets, a pharmacy and panoramic gardens.
A two-minute walk away, there is a bus stop with services to main towns (Viterbo, Orvieto, Siena, Rome, as well as the beaches of Lake Bolsena). In Orvieto you will find both the railway station and the A1 motorway towards Rome and Florence. Fiumicino Airport is 150km away and can also be reached by train from Orvieto station.
