Allison Hrechko

Hello! My name is Allison Hrechko, and I am currently pursuing my degree in Special Education at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL. I live in Homewood, IL, with my parents and my little brother, Danny. My brother was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, and ever since then, I have been creating fun lessons and activities to help him with the learning process. He is the main reason why I have chosen to become a special education teacher, and I cannot thank him enough for that. I wholeheartedly believe that every child has the right and the ability to learn, and the happiness and joy that I feel when I am around kids is beyond words. I just love kids so much! I already can't imagine my life without teaching, and I am beyond excited to see what the future holds. I know that with hard work and determination, my future students will excel in all aspects of life.
