Pandora Cami and Knickers set in poly spandex, with elastic and stretch lace from Pitt Trading.
April 2020
In the midst of the corona virus lock down, it was a great time to stay home and sew testing a new pattern. I have been admiring the designs of Daydream Patterns for sometime and was super excited to be chosen to test Jo's latest pattern; the Pandora PJs set.
The set compromises a cami, knicker and/ or long pyjama pants.
While waiting for my stretch lace to arrive, I sewed a test set in a size 12 in interlock jersey from Pitt Trading in marshmallow pink with a stretch lace that I tried to fashion into a scalloped piece. This pattern is rated for an advanced beginner and I think it is great starting point for someone wanting to dip their toe into working with knits, lingerie and lingerie elastics.
The pattern instructions are very clear and explain techniques like working with elastics in a clear and concise manner.
The fit runs very true to the finished measurements.
Based on some feedback from testers, Jo altered the construction of the cami to include underbust elastic. For me this was a great addition and gave extra support for sleeping. I made two sets for me both in size 18c - the fit was perfect for me and the only change I made was to the shoulder strap length.
