About us

The Allentown Public Library Association (APLA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization run by a board of volunteer trustees. We are a separate organization from the Monmouth County Library system, which operates the Allentown Branch in a former church owned by the APLA at 16 S. Main Street, Allentown, NJ. Our funds are generated from municipal contributions and private donations and used to preserve and maintain the former church that has been home to the Allentown Library since 1973.

Prospective trustees are always welcome at our monthly meetings. Meetings are generally held the first Wednesday of each month. Please contact apla.secy@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more about the Association.
