Farmer of the County of Logan and State of Kentucky the following amount ---, One note for Eighty dollars bearing date January 2nd 1837, due on demand to secure the payment whereof I have conveyed and delivered to said Farmers the following property, to wit, one yoke oxen and milk cow, 16 head of hogs one sonil man one bed bed stand(?) and furniture two plough, and gear, one scythe and cradle, the right of which property remains in said Farmer fully visited until the said debt with lawful interest is paid or satisfied and the right of said property to ---- to said Allen it is understood however that said Allen is to have use of said property until applied to by said Farmer to liquidate his claim but said Allen is not liberty to trade or dispose of said property without the consent of said Farmer or his agent. Charity Richerson to Jonas Allen 4th July 1854 for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars to me in hand paid by Jonas Allen, and the other (?) considerations ------ after named, I have this day bargained, sold and conveyed unto the said Jonas Allen his heir signs ---- a certain tract of land, lying in Robertson County Ten, in civil district No. 3 bounded as follows, Beginning aN-wo (?) black jacks formerly Caney’s ------ west corner, ---- with Caney’s line east 140 ---- to a ---- oak, ---- north forty six poles to a ----, ---- west 140 poles to a stake in J.C. Colmans (?) hence South 46 poles to the Beginning, containing by estimation 40 acres more or less, being the same where on (?) I now live. To have and to hold to him the said Jonas Allen his heirs and forever, In trust he ---- for the following uses and purposes and for no other, that is to say, that ---- said Jonas Allen having this day paid for ---- ----- to the office of the Circuit Court of Robertson County, the sum of $14.96, to satisfy a ----. which J.C. Smith held against me & for which my said tract of land was condemned and ordered to be sold by the said Court at the June ---- 1854, and the ---- ---- sum of 8 dollars and 12 cents in cash to me paid, for the purpose of my ---- two small claims to James ---- & others. Now if I shall well & truly pay or cause to be paid, to the said Allen his heirs et.al on or before the first day of June next, the above mentioned sum of money, amounting to $22.08 with interest for the same, ---- this to be null and void, But if not then the said Allen by himself as trustee, or some person whom the parties may appoint, may proceed to sell said tract of land et.al public sale for cash, after having advertised the same for thirty (?) days, at three or more public places in the neighbourhood one of which shall be at ---- Charity Richerdsons and after ---- said amount of $22.08 with interest & cost ---- here to if any thing be left, pay the same back to me, witness my hand and ---- this 3 July 1854, Received 4 July 1854 at 8 oclock AM.

The plaintiffs Hugh Douglas & Bird Douglas merchant today under the style of Douglas Co., state that the defendant Jonas Allen, by his promissory note dated November 1, 1860, filed as part of this petition, agreed to pay RH Henderson one hundred and seven dollars and twelve cents two months thereafter, and that said Henderson sold, by written endorsement assigned, and delivered said note to plaintiffs, and that -- part thereof has been paid.
Wherefore they may judgement against the defendant for their debt with interest and cost and for all proper uses.

Whereas, WM Thomas has been appointed, by the County Court of Logan County, Administrator of Jonas Allen deceased, intestate. Now, we WM Thomas Administrator and WE Allen & WP Shelton surities, do hereby covenant to and with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, that the said WM Thomas will well and truly administer the goods, chattels, credits, and effects of the said intestate, according to law, and will further make a just and true account of all his actings and doings therein; and will well and truly make a proper distribution of any surplus money, effects, and rents, which may come to his hands, or to any one for him by color of his office, to the persons entitled thereto. If it shall hereafter appear, that a last Will and Testament was made by the deceased, and the same be proved and recorded, we further covenant that the said WM Thomas will, in such case, surrender his letters of administration; and that he will account with, and pay and deliver over to the Executor or Administrator with the Will annexed, the assets in his hands unadministered.
