Professional Competencies 

There are two Professional Competencies that I have been working towards: 

Competency 4:  To Implement teaching and Learning Situations: 

The main goal is to make sure that my lesson plans are aligned with my students and constantly adapting them to make them better. Making sure that learning goals are obtainable as well as written in language that students can understand. 

Competency 6: Class Management

For this competency I have been focusing on providing my students with structure, and involving them in all classroom decisions so they feel that measures taken are acceptable. This competency involves consistency and constant effort. Sometimes I have to rethink some of my class management strategies and see what works best for the class I currently have. 

These competencies as well as all the others are constantly being worked on and make me a better teacher. While creating lesson plans it is important to always think of how you can implement these competencies.
