OPERATION VITTLES: In March 1948 The greatest airlift in history began. For fifteen months, British and American aviators flew day and night a total of 92,000,000 miles to keep West Berlin feed, fueled, and powered. It was monumental and it was monotonous labor. At its peak, planes landed at Templehof airport every 30 seconds. Join All American Airlines as we honor these aviators and fly the historic routes they flew for fifteen days! ALL THE WAY!
NOTE: For realism, fly into EDDI, the historic Templehof airport that was operational and used in Berlin at the time of the airlift. Templehof Airport closed in 2008 and may not be available in your simulator. If that is the situation, use EDDB.
