Steps to recover my Hotmail account

Through the internet browser, visit the sign-in page of Hotmail.

Type your Hotmail id and the last password you remembered.

If the Hotmail shows that the entered password is incorrect, click on the Forgot my password option available on the sign-in page.

The Hotmail will direct you to a page, from where Hotmail will ask you to select either the phone number or the email id on which you want the verification code.

After selecting among the two, click on send verification code.

A code will be sent either through email or through phone number.

Check the code and enter it in the specific space available.

Click on submit. The Hotmail will now direct you to a page from where you can reset a new password.

Try to reset a strong password so that no one else can have access to your account. Confirm the new password entered and click on submit.

An option will come to either log out of all the devices or keep logging in. Select on log out from all the devices for security and proceed with your recovered Hotmail account.
